The Future of the Binance Volatility Trading Bot

I am really excited for all the interest in the Binance Volatility Trading bot, with over 1.2k people on Discord talking, testing and adding their input on the crypto trading algorithm, and 2.1k stars on GitHub it’s clear that this project has massively outgrown its initial bounds.

What is it?

If you’re a bit late to the party, this crypto trading bot is able to analyse and detect the most volatile coins on Binance and places trades in anticipation of a potential mooning.

Here are some of the highlight features of the bot:

  • The bot will listen to changes in price across all Coins on Binance paired to USDT
  • The bot checks if the any coin has gone up by more than 3% in the last minute
  • The bot will buy 100 USDT of the most volatile coins on Binance
  • The bot will sell at 2% profit or 2% stop loss
  • There is a sandbox mode to test our different strategies
  • A pause mode, to stop buying once the market goes bearish

This is just a configuration example, you can (and should) use your own configuration to determine what works best under the current market conditions.

As it stands right now, the tool is available as an open source script that you need to run using a Python compiler. This means, there’s no user interface and some people have had a hard time trying to implement it as it requires at least some basic understanding of coding.

If you’re comfortable with coding and would like to give this a go its alpha state, you can follow the tutorial linked here, otherwise keep on reading this will be good.

What the future holds

I’m excited to say that we are now a team of developers, and not just myself working on this project, and we’re working on a more full fledged version of this bot with a proper front-end for config editing, profit loss tracking and more. The main focus for the new platform is to simplify the configuration process and remove the need to manually alter the code to use the bot.

This is pretty major for us as it means we can implement a far greater feature set into the bot, and make it more accessible to people who would have otherwise had a hard time trying to set it up. This, of course means that the new crypto trading engine will most likely operate as a freemium application – with more powerful features for a premium tier.

If you’re as excited as we are about what’s essentially a project that came alive due to some amazing Redditors, hop over to our crypto trading engine‘s landing page and register your interest to take part in the early access version! You don’t have to do that if you’re already a subscriber to my blog.

If you want to get even more involved once you registered your interest, join our growing discord server to be part of the community!

What will happen to the open-source

The open source version of the bot will remain open source and free to use, the current version of the bot is bug free to our knowledge and in a stable state to be used for trading.

The dev team will be focusing on the new version however we’re still open to suggestions on features to put in the new trading bot.

Discord VIP users will still get support, and a new channel will be created under #premium-support containing extra info, or for any questions you may have about it

We will still accept, and merge any pull requests that conform to the PR guidelines We hope you’re excited as we are about the future of the BVTB as we are!

      1. I’m also trying to register my interest in the Binance trading algorithm but I’m getting an error message saying:
“Something went wrong, try again later”

  1. Hi Andrei

Highly excited to hear the news about the creation of BVT Bot into a commercial product, look forward to helping with early testing.

    Regards
    Kevin

    1. Hi Kevin,
Thanks for your interest and support for the project. I’m happy to hear you’re keen to be part of the early testing and I’ll make sure to let you know once it’s all in the testing phase 🙂

  2. Hi, I’m as new as they come to the crypto space. But I will be happy to be an early tester if you need someone who is just a regular customer who relies on super dummy-proof interface. That’s me. That way you’ll be able to see just how easy it is to use for the non-coding masses.

    1. Thanks for your interest, I’ll make sure to send e-mail out to everyone who is keen once we’re in a position to roll it out 🙂

  3. I have to say, thank you, this piece of code is working great,we have to set the right parameters just that. Keep the great work.
